Life keeps going on
BY SONJA JAMES

They say,
If you ignore evil it will disappear
But how many times
Did I let it eat me alive
And got my heart burned out, out of me
The memories of hard days
Make me like a stone today
But I wanna forget
Just a little bit let out of me
I don´t care anymore
Who´s the winner of the war’
I win when I let myself free
Life keeps going even without us,

I´m not living for the future
I´m living for now
Leaving past where it belongs
I can´t change it even if I try

They say,
That before the dawn
The darkest is the night
But my night lasted too long
And the shades of black were my colors
I was colorblind
I didn´t know any other way

Life keeps going even without us,
Even without us

I´m not living for the future
I´m living for now
Leaving past where it belongs
I can´t change it even if I try
